A couple of years ago I started playing around with my Yahoo calendar and can honestly say, "I love it". It didn't take me long to figure it out and one afternoon it took me about an hour to add family birthdays, anniversaries, and other dates important to me.
The thing I like best about it, is I always get an e-mail on selected dates informing me of a birthday birthday or what importance the date has to me. I set all the birthdays up so, year after year, I get the same message. I also have a reminder 10 days before the birthdays so I can get my cards out on time. I also use it to remind myself of future doctor appointments that I had made 6 months to a year in advance. My sister actually calls me with her doctor appointments so I can remind her of them.
This may sound sort of simple and silly, but it sure does work and not only does it just work, it works great. No matter where I am, as long as I have access to check my e-mail I will always have my calendar with me.

I started using my yahoo calendar a while back as well. I like the feature that allows you to set up a text message as a reminder. It's been a life saver on more than one occasion.
I agree on the use of the Yahoo calendar. It is my right hand! I'm using it more and more as time goes on.
