Does anyone have any ideas on getting the fold line out of a rug? Rina from Oregon

depending on it's size and fiber content. you could try it in the dryer for a few minutes to warm up or if it is a flat rug you could iron it at the appropriate setting. Good luck!

Do you mean a floor rug? You could spray with a fine mist of water on the backing and put a heavy weight on the area overnight - piece of furniture or stack of books for example. If its large do a section per night.

I dont know how large your rug is, but I just purchased a small throw rug and laid very heavy hardback books across the fold. The weight will eventually press out the fold - I just can't say how long it'll take, tho.
Wet a teatowel, place on top of rug and use an iron on steam. Do not iron directly on carpet as it will melt fibres.
