Cute and easy, kids of all ages love these.

Ingredients:

  • Cake mix (cream cheese, if you make your own cake pops) or purchase donuts holes

  • Can of frosting (you can use your choice, chocolate, vanilla, strawberry) or make your favorite frosting.
  • Sticks used for making candy suckers.
  • Sprinkles, nuts, coconut (your choice of toppings)

Directions:

You can just buy donut holes or make your favorite flavor of cake. When cake is cool, crumble and mix package of softened cream cheese with cake crumbs. Roll into truffle size balls, push the sucker sticks into it and refrigerate for about 45 minutes.

Put the can of frosting in microwave, melting it (careful you don't burn it). Dip the cake balls in melted frosting. Then you can put sprinkles, nuts or coconut on them. Set them upright. When the kids see them, watch them disappear! Cake pops in a jar of candy corn.

These can be decorated with faces, pumpkins, Santas, great for baby showers, let you imagination run wild. Kids of all ages love them! You can make your own frosting instead of canned frosting if you want! Have fun.

Source: I have seen these cake pops in magazines. In fact, I just ordered a Baby Cake Pop machine. With this, you can make the cake mix minus the cream cheese. You will get a great texture with the cake mix.
