Swiss Bliss in Foil

This is a great, easy Swiss steak recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 lb. chuck steak, cut in pieces
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • Advertisement

  • small jar mushrooms
  • 1 lb. can tomatoes, drained, save juice
  • 1/4 tsp. salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup juice from tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. A-1 steak sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 20 in. sheet of foil

Directions:

Spread foil with margarine. Lay meat overlapping. Sprinkle with onions, green pepper, mushrooms and seasonings. Mix and add A-1 steak sauce and cornstarch and juice. Pour over meat. Fold in foil. Bake at 350 degrees F for 2 hours.

Cooking Time: 120 Minutes
