When we moved back to Knoxville from Houston, we left one of our sons living in our condo until it can be placed on the market. I spoke to him the other night and he informed me that he is following my example of penny pinching. He bought one of the large bags of popcorn ("like you bought when I was a little kid") for two dollars. He says this will last him 3 or 4 months as opposed to 2 or 3 dollars a week for microwave popcorn. The boy was listening!
He also said that with his being at work all day and by closing off the rooms he doesn't use, his electric bill is cut by more than half. I hope this will help someone.

Is he popping his own corn? Or buying already popped? If hes popping his own great but already pooped would be very stale before its gone.
I hope its unpopped corn as it will get very stale before its gone!
