Ironing Stain?

I need information on how to clean a 100% cotton blouse that was ironed with an iron that was too hot. The blouse is white with these instructions: "Machine wash separately in cold water. Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary.

Tumble dry low, warm iron. A friend ironed an item of clothing, then ironed my blouse, not observing the instructions. Can anyone tell me how to get the black stain out?

Sounds like it is burned. Not a lot of hope. Can you wear it under a vest or jumper?

This is from the Hodgson Mill website

REMOVING SCORCHES can be made easier by wetting the scorched area and cover with Corn Starch. Brush excess off when dry.
