Today is Susan's birthday. She is the founder of ThriftyFun and works practically seven days a week keeping things running smoothly. We decided to give her the day off.

Thanks to all of you for your lovely birthday wishes and comments on the site and by email. I had a lovely day with 2 meals out, one with friends and the other with my sons and a movie. I heard from my 3 daughters, Stella in Vietnam, Jess in Portland and Mara in Seattle and also my sister Sally who shares the birthday with me (she's my twin 3 years younger.) The birthday song video from my grandsons was a real treat! All in all it was a wonderful birthday.
that great you have the same birth date as my mother. and mine is 5 days previous. march fourth to paradise (ha ha). just celebrated my 1/2 century DAY! (only count that particular day itself not the whole year. just want to tell you that i think what you've done here is great. and you need to take one day off a week. GOD did and he thinks you should to.thanks for all of it.
