Expensive Does Not Equal Quality

Gold Post Medal for All Time! 519 Posts

I sent in for a free trial of some relatively expensive lip treatment, which didn't live up to my expectations, and certainly not for the price. Luckily I found my favorite lip gloss at the 99 Cent Store - which I actually like better! So, being pricey won't always guarantee quality.

I so agree with you! Years ago as a single(and very poor) mother I struggled with buying my young daughter school shoes. I finally decided I would sacrifice and buy her the expensive and(supposedly reputable/good name/brand) as they would last longer than cheap shoes. They did not. In afew weeks the soles and the uppers were parting company. I still remember how disallusioned I was.
