This is a a shot of my husband surrounded by a beautiful scene of snowy silence around Christmas last year. We love to walk on our property when it's covered in snow because it is like a whole new world.

I do too, I just don't like when it is winter in South Dakota. I'm getting too old to enjoy winter. At age 72, I slip and fall way too easy.
Great Picture-Beautiful. I didn't know you'd got snow this year-or was it a few years back when you all got clobbered with it? That's when a good friend of mine no sooner moved there, & the Big Storm Came. He said you all were Unprepared because you don't get it much & usually not a lot at once when you do.He said the electricity was out for a week or so & lots of cars were burried.
Hope this feedback is not too late for you angeltea9! This was in 2010. I think I measured 12 inches. We usually don't get that much snow that's for sure! This year though, we haven't got any. I'm not too sad. Personally I'm ready for spring. The daffodils and quince are blooming now. Yea Spring!
