Make Your Own Spreadable Butter

Make your own "spreadable" butter by liquidizing 70% butter to 30% vegetable oil. Rinse off any residue left on the liquidizer with boiling water and use in sauces. You can add low sodium salt to unsalted butter at the same time.

Editor's Note: A liquidizer is another term for "blender".

Room temperature butter, salted or unsalted, works just as well without the extra fuss ;-)

I love to try new recipes but on this I'm for the room temp. idea myself.
