My little boy is turning five this next month and he wants to have a hunting theme party, but he also wants a pool party. We have the indoor pool reserved, but I'm having problems with decor and invites. I don't want to spend a lot. Can anyone give me some suggestions?

In my opinion the pool party sounds best. I know different parts of the country think differently and where I live we discourage teaching children to kill animals and instead try to teach a love and apprecation for wild life.
You could use ducks and make it a duck hunting pool party. When my son got married I was on a very limited budget and bought burlap and used it on the tables, we also used deer antlers and ducks to decorate the tables. I did all the cooking, baking, and decorated the grooms cake. You could do something similar for your son's birthday. I hope this helps! Give him a big Happy Birthday from me!
I second Ann Parker's answer.
Ann I understand your point but where we are from we teach our children how to respect, ethics, and knowledge them with hunting. We eat what we kill so therefore there is a reason behind this as the old saying goes putting food on the table. This also helps the wildlife to continue on growing without being over populated.
