I was reading all about shower curtains on here, on how to wash them.
I made one and I cut it about a foot from the top all the way across. I sewed a zipper on it and now all I have to do is unzip it and wash the bottom part. I don't need to mess with the hooks.

I put my cloth shower curtain in the washer with the hooks on. Then I hang it right up when it get through spinning.
That is one of the handiest tips I have seen on here in a long time. What a great idea! If I could thumbs up more than once, I would. Sandi
Sounds like a great idea, but where do I find a zipper long enough to fit across a shower curtain?
Coats and Clark makes a zippers in different lengths and materials.
I also when I sew the curtain, I make a lap over the zipper, so it doesn't show.
It depends on the width of the shower curtain on what size of zipper you use.
I also use the cheap plastic shower curtain hooks. For washing you take down one end and the whole shebang slides right off.
