Combine sugar, water, cornstarch, butter and food coloring; cook until thick. Remove from heat; fold in strawberries.

Mix cornstarch, sugar, and salt. Add boiling waster, mixing well. Cook until thick. Pour a little into beaten egg yolks, then add that to balance of cooked mixture.

Quick Fruit PieMelt 1 stick of butter in an oblong pan. In bowl mix ingredients together to make a batter. Pour batter over butter; do not stir. Pour 3 or 4 cups sweetened berries or other fruit over batter and butter; still not stirring. Bake in 350 degrees F oven until brown.
Cobbler PieCream butter, sugar and salt then add rest of crust ingredients. Put in a 13 inch glass pan. Cover with remaining ingredients. The crust rises to the top. Bake in 350 degree F oven until the crust is golden brown.
Honey Peach PieLine 8 inch pan with pastry. Fill with fresh sliced peaches. Sprinkle peaches with 1 tablespoon quick cooking tapioca and dribble 1/3 cup honey over peaches. Lay twisted strips of pastry across top. Bake in hot oven, 425 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until light brown.
French Coconut PieBrush a little egg white on the unbaked pie shell and bake at 400 degrees F about 1 minute. This prevents soggy crust. Beat eggs slightly and add other ingredients. Pour into pie shell and bake at 350 degrees F for 20-30 minutes. This pie is best when served on the same day that it is prepared.
Southern Peach PieMix the peaches, sugar, tapioca and lemon juice together and let sit for 15 minutes. Mix the flour, brown sugar, pecans and margarine together. Place 1/3 of the crumb mixture on the bottom of the pie crust.
Short Cut Lemon PieMix pudding mix, sugar and water in saucepan. Cook until thick and stir in the beaten egg yolks. Remove from stove. Stir in butter. Add lemon juice and pour into baked crust.
Japanese Fruit PiePreheat oven to 325 degrees F. Melt margarine. Add raisins, pecans, eggs, coconut, sugar and vinegar. Mix all ingredients. Pour in unbaked pie shell. Bake for 40 minutes
Prune PieWith a spatula mix the sugar, egg and salt. Add flour, mixing with your fingers. Little by little, add the butter until the dough is smooth. Spread the dough in large greased pie plate. Prick with a fork and bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees F.

Cinnamon Plum PieLine a 9 inch pie pan with pastry.combine plums, sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon in saucepan, bring to a boil, stirring often and cook until thickened and clear, about 15 minutes. Pour into pastry lined pan and dot with butter.
Impossible Rhubarb PieCombine rhubarb, 1 1/2 cups sugar and 1/4 cup flour; stir to blend. Add beaten eggs and nutmeg. Pour into greased 10 inch pie pan.combine margarine, 6 Tbsp. flour and 8 Tbsp. sugar and blend to form a topping.
