Humphrey Company Candy KissesThere's a company in the Cleveland area (The Humphrey Co.) that makes Candy Kisses and this is part of their description of the candy: "Remember that famous vanilla flavored, old fashioned pulled taffy in the yellow wrap? It is just as good as you think, and it's low fat, too. It will melt in your mouth, but only if you can resist chewing it."
Maple Nut Goodies Recipe?Does anyone have a maple nut candy recipe, like the Maple Nut Goodies candy? My father loves those candies and I was hoping to make him some for Christmas.
Snicker BarsMelt 1/2 chocolate and half of butterscotch chips. Reserve other 1/2 for top. Spread in a greased 9x13 inch pan. Chill. Simmer sugar, milk, butter for 5 minutes.
Tootsie RollsMix chocolate, margarine, corn syrup, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and knead slowly. You can add more powdered sugar if necessary, up to 1 1/2 cup. Make into tootsie rolls and wrap.
Butterfinger BarsCream together margarine and sugars. Add oatmeal; mix thoroughly. Press into a 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 12 to 15 minutes.
Snickers BarsMelt water, chips and shortening over hot water; stir until melted and mixture smooth. Remove from heat and pour 1/2 mixture into foil-lines 8 inch pan. Spread evenly . Refrigerate about 15 minutes.
O'Henry BarsMix first 4 ingredients. Pat into jelly roll pan. Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Do not overbake.
