Kitchen Cabinet Paint Color Advice?I have the original 90s honey oak cabinets in my kitchen. The walls are painted in a golden yellow with a brown glaze. The counters are a Rainforest Silestone with a black base color and flecks of dark green and golden yellow. My appliances are black and the floors are a basic beige tile.

Electric Out?I live in apartment complex. The electric went off during the night. Went down to main box in communal, keypad showing what I have left in box so that's fine. Nothing tripped and nothing will go back on when I reset trip box in apartment? Nothing's loose and no obvious signs of burn out of a fuse. Spray Painting a Sink and Counter Top?I've been trying to use Rustoleum Tub and Tile spray epoxy on my bathroom counter and sink. Even with good cleaning, sanding, solvent prep, I keep getting a mostly rough finish instead of smooth and glossy. I sand lightly and try again, but the smooth parts are more hit and miss instead of all over. Is there a spray top coat I can use to give it a smooth finish over this difficult spray?

Painting the Top and Bottom Cabinets Different Colors?I did a grey paint wash on the kitchen floor, the walls are painted a grey, it's so hard to see it all, but the counter top is a natural wood slab, blue is my favorite color so I did the bottom cabinets using a few different techniques. Now I am doing the top ones in a grey lighter than the blue, but as dark as I can to set them apart some from the walls.

Painting Laminate Countertops?After proper preparation, I sealed my countertop and did a granite look finish with acrylic paints. I was sold an acrylic water based polyurethane as a top coat and followed the directions. It has peeled off in 2 areas. I have touched it up and recoated, but am now concerned that this will continue. Can I sand, and put a coat of oil based polyurethane over this?

Curtains to Complement Cream and Copper Effect Walls?I have just decorated my bedroom and have painted it a light cream (Dulux natural calico). Then I painted my chimney and bed wall a copper patina effect (Craig and Rose paint). So it's basically copper with a turquoise kind of pattern that I've made over some of it. You can see a photo of what it should look like on their site. It is meant to look like a rust effect.

Painting and Sealing a Laminate Counter Top?I painted my old bathroom counter tops to mimic capstone. I put on my first thin coat of Minwax Polyacrylic. I sanded, a bit too hard. I am heavy handed and had never done a project that required this. I had white places and spots.'I have just applied a primer coat on top of that to start over or just paint the thing and forget it. But I will once again have to apply a sealer.

Bureau Drawers Stuck?Two of the drawers of my father's roll top bureau are stuck. The drawers have hooks at the back.
