Sad Female Muscovy?Good morn. What can I do for my 2 year old muscovy (Milly)? Last year, Milly and Mortermer (other muscovy) both had clutches. Milly hatched 2 out then throughout the day, Mortermer stole the rest of her eggs and would not let Milly anywhere near them. I had to fence Milly with the other duck. Mortamer was getting vicious. It was very sad, you could tell which ones were Milly's. Anyhow since then, Milly has changed a lot. She seems very angry and does nothing but quack all day, wants out of the yard at the crack of dawn and waddles herself down to creek and takes everyone with her. Is there anything I can do for her? She's not my happy go lucky Milly. We did keep one of hers thinking it might help but no. It was her first clutch and Mortermer's second.

Five Week Old Puppy Has Diarrhea?My 5 week old puppy is the only puppy left out of the litter that lived. She is eating just fine, she just won't drink water and she will poop regular couple times then it turns to diarrhea. It's like after she eats, hours, couple maybe she will poop it all out. Why Does My Cat Pee On Baked Goods?I've had my cat for 8 years now, male, neutered and there is only one thing he does that I can't figure out. Caring for Baby Zebra Finches?My parent birds Lucy & Ricky had their first eggs and I thought all was going good until the chirping stopped and there wasn't any movement. I got the nest down and found these babies. Well that was about 3 months ago and now we have 4 birds in the nest and their growing and eating. How Do I Help My Puppy Walk Again?My 6 week old puppy ate wet puppy food that was unsealed in the can in the refrigerator. Dog Won't Eat After Losing Puppies?My dog Bella just gave birth April 16th this year. She had complications giving birth. The one she was able to push out was one that was stillborn. Was Our Dog Intentionally Killed?My daughter's 18 month old male brindle pitbull was suddenly found dead in the backyard laying on his side, tongue hanging out, jaw hard to pry open, legs straight and stiff as if it were stuffed by a taxidermist. Caring For a Goldfish?I won a goldfish today at a fair and bought a little tank there for it to go in when home. Zebra Finch Chicks?Hi. This is my first time breeding finches. My pair of zebra finches have successfully hatched 3 chicks which are 4 weeks old today. Zebra Finch Newborns Left Alone?I just added two pair of Zebra Finches to my Quail aviary about three months ago. Provided nests, nesting material and food conducive to breeding. One pair started building a nest within a week. About three weeks in, I noticed one finch was ALWAYS in the nest so I assumed they are sitting on eggs. Based on the date, I figured the babies should hatch about the 20th of November. There was always one or the other finch in the nest at all times. I noticed on the 20th, both were out and every time I came out for the next two days they were always out of the nest. I finally decided to look inside but it was a straw nest with very small opening (not a wood nest box with lifting lid) so I couldn't see anything. On the 23rd, I decided to put my finger in and I felt flesh with no movement or sounds. I assumed the babies hatched and then died as a result of being abandoned. I brought the nest into the house and snipped the top half open to see what I could see. There were at least three maybe four babies that appeared dead. When i went to pick one up it moved slightly and made a small sound. I immediately closed the nest back up, tied it closed and put it back in the aviary in hopes that the parents would go back to the nest. Is it possible or did the parent abandon them and it is just taking a while for them to die?

Dog Peeing On Everything?My dog is 14. Five years ago, she tore both her hocks one at a time. She is now peeing on everything in the house, even herself when she is laying down. She does it inside and out. She also has a very hard time getting up. I brought her to the vet and all she did is give me Gabapentin. She said it's for her arthritis. She is also now having bowel movements in the house. All she does is sleep 90% of the time or just stares into space. She always faces away from me. (My husband passed in March and she always clung to him). I am wondering if she is in pain? Is it time for her to go? I asked the vet and no response. She used to play with the other dog even if it was just a couple of minutes but hasn't done that in a while. Any ideas would help.

Should I Neuter My Pitbull?I have a 2 year old male pitbull. He has recently became aggressive towards people. I will not have him killed. He isn't neutered and I wonder if I have it done, will it help? I live in Ohio. He has already bit my arm but I still will not give up hope. Finches Not Caring For Eggs?I have 4 finches; 3 females and 1 male. The four finches were in the same cage. The male mated with two of the females. Both females have their own nest and six eggs but one of the females kept coming out of her nest and chasing the other female through the cage so I turned around and set up a new cage and took two of the females and the eggs and put in the new cage. The other female and male are still in their big cage with their eggs. The two females that I put in the new cage used to sit on the eggs and turn them. In the last 4 days they haven't gone in the nest to do anything with the eggs. What do I do or will the eggs be okay?

Cats Pooping Under Deck?We have cats that have adopted us and live on our back deck. We feed them. There are many places to poop besides under the deck as this does create an odor for us to NOT enjoy when we are lounging. Any ideas on a repellent for this that I can lay under the deck? Dog Died From Having a Hematoma Drained?While on vacation, my sitter took my dog in to the vet to have a lump looked at on his right hindquarter, that I noticed before I left. She was told it was a hematoma. They drained it, but said it may need to drained again. When I returned, I took him back to the vet for aftercare. The suggestion was to have a drain put in. I agreed.

My Dog Passed Away Unexpectedly?My Scottish terrier was only 8 years old and we found him on his side and he had pooped himself. He was normal that morning. He had his breakfast. He did lose his bff at the beginning of summer, but it honestly looked like we got him over the initial loss. Puppy with Parvo?My puppy Kodiak. I had just got him at 10 weeks old not too long ago as he's about to be 12 weeks. Well day before yesterday, he was really down and out. Zebra Finch Eggs?So my fiance cleaned our Zebra Finches cage to put them in a bigger cage and we discovered that they had laid an egg! Beagle Puppy Excessive Itching?My beagle baby, 10 weeks old has lice when I got her. I have taken her twice to the vet. She has been prescribed shampoo and flea talc. My Puppy Has Parvo?My puppy has parvo. I took him to the vet and they gave me fluids to give him. I've been doing that, he looks like he's getting better. I have him isolated and I hate it. If I were to bring him back to my room while still doing the treatment, will he not get better?
