Why Does My Cat Pee On Baked Goods?I've had my cat for 8 years now, male, neutered and there is only one thing he does that I can't figure out. I raised him from a week old so I've watch his behaviors and have learned what most of them mean, or what he wants, however, this is something I can't quite figure out. Leo jumps on counter tops like most cats. I don't keep many things out on a daily basis, but if any type of baked good; ie bread, cookies. Anything left out wrapped or covered he will pee on it! He doesn't pee on anything else or anywhere other than his litter box. Why?

Cats Pooping Under Deck?We have cats that have adopted us and live on our back deck. We feed them. There are many places to poop besides under the deck as this does create an odor for us to NOT enjoy when we are lounging. Any ideas on a repellent for this that I can lay under the deck? I was thinking cedar mulch or cedar pet litter, looking for something dry I can lay under the deck that will not hurt them.

Kitten Nursing on Puppy?I recently got a puppy (male, 5 months) in addition to a kitten (male, 11 weeks; I was told). I noticed last night that he was trying to nurse off of our puppy. He cries constantly until he starts suckling again. He's made my puppy's belly raw in spots. Sometimes my dog allows it, other times not. I've tried little bottles of water and stuffed animals, etc.

When Can Kittens Go Outside?I have a feral cat that had kittens 8 weeks ago. The day she had them, she brought me to them to show me. She had them in a very unsafe place, no shelter from weather ,etc. My husband and I trapped her and moved her and the kittens to our basement. She was grateful.

Cat Won't Eat Cat Food?My cat, Raisin is so fussy with his food. He'd sooner die than eat mere cat food! He will eat the dog's raw food, but only the chicken and liver mince. Am I being had? Two Cats Mounting Each Other?I've only been able to find information online about one cat dominantly humping another, but I have two neutered male cats who hump each other in equal amounts! They're from the same litter, and are a bonded pair. One is dominant over the other, but they both take turns mounting each other just for about a minute at a time. Neither cat seems to mind much.
