Buckley Homestead GeeseOn a recent visit to Buckley Homestead County Park in Lowell, Indiana I was greeted by two noisy and curious farm geese. Buckley Homestead is a late 19th/early 20th century working farm. I enjoyed stepping back into the past for a few hours and visiting with the animals.
Sheep PhotosThis is a page about sheep photos. Many of us truly enjoy seeing farm animals in their natural habitat when we are out driving or walking.

Cattle (Cow) PhotosDo you still point out cattle when you are driving on a road trip? Cows have a lot of personality and are fun to photograph. Here are photos submitted by some of our users. If you are a cow enthusiast, plop your udderly cute cow and cattle photos here.
Wildlife: Wandering BullsThese two wandered onto our property this past Sunday. I was afraid they would knock over the grill, but they caused very little damage and were quite docile. A nearby neighbor provided feed, which kept them from wandering further, until the owner could pick them up.
Scenery: Pigmy GoatsMy baby Pygmy goats are wonderful additions to the family farm. They eat all the brush, weeds and poison ivy plants. They give milk, soap, cheese, and butter; all with a funny attitude.
Farmer In The CityMy dad was raised on a farm. But he has spent most of his adult life in the city. When a church friend needed someone to take care of their animal while they were away, he was the natural choice.
Scenery: KidsThese are some of the 30 babies we had this summer, mostly girls and all bursting with new bounding energy.
Baby Animals Are a Sign of SpringSpring in the country wouldn't be half as much fun if it weren't for all the beautiful baby animals you see. These are right outside our front door across the road so a really wonderful sight any time of day.
Malaysian Bred ChickenSeeing the greens around with this colorful Malaysian bred chicken is such a wonderful morning view. It's fresh and soothing to the eyes. What I like most about this photo is the chicken being caught in the act of keeping a nice posture as it feeds. And it felt like I had just a wonderful day seeing this!
Concerned Neighbors (Cows)I had to laugh after pulling over on the side of a country road by our house, when looking out the passenger window to see a small herd of cows coming over to check me out and make sure everything was OK!
Loving a ChickenI save my food scraps to take to my neighbor's chickens. There is one little hen that gets out of the pen most every day. When she sees me coming, she runs down the path to meet me and follows me to the pen. She lets me pick her up and put her over the fence back into the pen. She wants to eat too.
